Delete your Whatsnxt account
You can request deletion of your Whatsnxt account and associated personal information at any time. There is no need to sign in to make this request.
How to make a request
- Email support@whatsnxt.app from the email address linked to your account, if possible.
- Use the subject line “Account deletion request”.
- Include the account email address or phone number, and any other details needed to identify the account. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request a secure verification method.
- We may ask for reasonable information to verify that you own or are authorised to act for the account before deleting it.
What happens next
After reasonable identity verification, we will acknowledge and complete your deletion request within 30 days. If applicable law permits an extension, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it as required by that law.
Information we delete
When we complete an account deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account that we no longer need to retain. This generally includes:
- account and profile details, including contact details and profile content;
- authentication links and account identifiers held by Whatsnxt;
- location information associated with your account, where applicable;
- uploaded photos and related account content that we control;
- event, attendance and booking information associated with your account; and
- account-linked app preferences and analytics records, where they can reasonably be identified and deleted.
Content already shared with another person or organisation may remain in that party's records. Information held independently by an event organiser, booking partner, payment provider or another third party is governed by that party's own policies.
Limited information we may retain
We may retain a limited amount of information where necessary for legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, payment, security, fraud-prevention, audit, dispute-resolution or backup-recovery purposes. This may include:
- protected backup copies until the relevant backup cycle completes;
- security, fraud-prevention, audit and dispute records; and
- transaction, accounting, tax or other records that applicable law requires us to retain.
We restrict retained information to the relevant purpose and delete or de-identify it when the applicable retention requirement ends.
